The First of the Summer Wine

By June 1, 2015Uncategorized

So I’ve been silent for a month now. Been contemplating a whole lot. Wondering how God wants to use me moving forward and wanting to bend to His will but being headstrong and still wanting to blaze my own trail.

I haven’t got it all figured out yet, but this much I know:

  • It’s harder to hit a moving target than it is to hit a stationary one. So as long as I have breath in me, I will work as unto the Lord. I will build His kingdom and I will give of y substance. That way, even when a weapon is formed against me, it will not find me, neither will it prosper.
  • I am God’s very own. Created in His image and His likeness. Therefore I am a creator and because He creates daily, I too must create.
  • I was called out of the darkness into His marvelous light that I may shine. Therefore out of me must shine a shine so bright that no darkness can be sustained near me.
  • He was in the beginning and He was the Word therefore I was before I am and I am the Word.

June marks out Summer Sunshine theme. This is quite contradictory in my beloved Kenya because June marks the beginning of our ‘winter’ months. That notwithstanding, This first day of winter marks the first day of our Summer Sunshine. The Sunshine does not come from the sky. It comes from within now and always.

So I pray that whomever i touch and wherever I go, this little light of mine will continue to shine.

Today, know this – My story will liberate you. Your story will liberate another. Generations will be set free because generations spoke.
